GOLDEN SPOON CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY IN THE PHILIPPINES

When Golden Spoon opened its doors in Manila one year ago, Filipinos were given their first taste of a frozen yoghurt that has the creamy, premium flavor of homemade ice cream. Known as “The Ice Cream Lover’s Yoghurt,” the healthy, delicious concoction is low in fat and calories, high in protein and calcium, and full of healthy digestive cultures.

To celebrate its first anniversary in the Philippines on November 19th, Golden Spoon will be giving all customers a special treat in November. Drop by any of the eight stores in Metro Manila between November 1-20, 2010, to find out what the treats are and experience what makes this yoghurt so delicious.

Golden Spoon is made with the freshest skim milk and a variety of unique flavors including New York Cheese Cake, Heath Bar, Cake Batter, and Peanut Butter Cup as well as its own special take on classics like Tart, Old Fashioned Vanilla, Belgian Chocolate, Espresso, and different fruit selections. Customers can choose from a variety of sizes and opt for a range of toppings such as cereal, nuts, chocolate chips, candy, and hot or cold syrups.

Golden Spoon was established in 1983 and is a Southern California-born company that currently has over 150 stores in California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Internationally, it can be found in Japan and the Philippines, with local stores in Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Paseo de Magallanes Commercial Center, The Podium, Greenhills Theater Mall, Eastwood City Walk, Paseo Centre, Trinoma, and Ayala Triangle Gardens.

Golden Spoon is operated in the Philippines solely by Unilogix Inc. and will soon be adding more flavors to its list, as well as more stores throughout the country.
